What car export papers cost in Almelo: rates for buyers, dealers and fleets

• Export document, from €50. We deregister the vehicle from the Dutch register. The buyer receives the export certificate (registration certificate part II) and the registration card with one corner cut off; the seller receives the vrijwaringsbewijs, proof that the registration has ended. • Export insurance with white plates, from €100. Through our insurance partner: 14 days of third-party liability cover with a Green Card, plus white export plates, two for a car and one for a motorcycle. The export document is not included.
• Complete export package, from €150. Both together, and the usual choice when the car is driven abroad straight after export.

On a trailer or car transporter a vehicle usually needs no driving insurance, so the export document is often enough.

Dealers and fleet buyers pay per vehicle too. A discount is possible in some cases, for several vehicles at once or a long-term working relationship, always agreed in advance. Send the registration numbers, vehicle types and destination through the request form or WhatsApp. Say which vehicles will be driven and which go on a trailer; we confirm the price per vehicle before you come.

Desk prices apply during office hours, Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 16:30. You may pay more than the starting price:

• on Sundays, when we open by appointment at a higher rate, so always call or message us first for the final price;
• outside office hours, when a surcharge may apply (we work 24/7 by appointment);
• for postal delivery, especially abroad;
• for heavy or non-standard vehicles, such as a motorhome, van or truck over 2,500 kg or a vehicle with foreign documents, all priced on request;
• for caravans and trailers, which have custom rates (see below).

Whatever the situation, you know the price before we start.

Preparation can be done online, but the yellow Dutch number plates must reach us physically, by post or courier, and we start once they have arrived. Documents and plates go out insured with tracking, abroad too. The price list shows the postal and express rates, plus the rate for online preparation with only a plate swap at our office.

A caravan or trailer also needs export insurance when it leaves the country. A trailer up to 750 kg has no registration of its own in the Netherlands, so we insure it on the chassis number and its white export plate carries the towing vehicle's registration number. A heavier trailer or caravan has its own registration and gets export insurance with one white plate at the rear. An APK (Dutch roadworthiness test) is only required above 3,500 kg. We assess each case first and then confirm the price.

• EX-A customs document, from €150: the export declaration with Dutch Customs for destinations outside the EU, on top of the export document. Business.gov.nl explains when it applies; see our EX-A customs export document page.
• Insurance extension, from €120 per 14 days: only with the insurer's approval, and you pay after we confirm. Read how to extend export plate insurance.
• BPM refund service: a fixed service fee, export document not included. The Dutch Tax Administration decides on the refund itself; its conditions are on BPM refund when exporting a used vehicle.

Pay in cash at the desk or by bank transfer. A written price confirmation for your vehicle always takes precedence over the guide prices. From the Grotestraat it is roughly 20 minutes via the A35 and the A1. You can walk in during office hours, but please call or message about 20 minutes ahead, especially with several vehicles.
